How does NightlyTale work?
You tell us your child’s name, age and favourite animal, choose English or Afrikaans, and pick a bedtime. Every evening we write a new, personalised story and email it to you at bedtime. There’s no app to download and nothing to open. The story is simply there, ready when they are.
Is it available in Afrikaans?
Yes. Stories are written in natural English or Afrikaans, not just translated, in whichever language your family speaks at home. Afrikaans bedtime stories are close to our heart.
How much does it cost?
Your first three nights are free. After that it’s R50 a month for one child, or R100 a month for up to three children. You can cancel anytime, no fuss.
Are the stories safe for young children?
Every story is written for calm, sleepy endings, with no scary turns and no cliffhangers. Each one is gently safety-checked before it ever reaches your child.
Do I need to download an app?
No. NightlyTale arrives by email at the bedtime you choose. It works on any phone, tablet or computer. Just open your inbox and read together.
Can grandparents or family far away use it too?
Absolutely. A grandparent can receive tonight’s story by email and read it aloud in a voice note, a small piece of home for a grandchild across the country or the world.
